Portrait
Backstage at the Bosl-Matineen
Over the past few years we have had talented videographer Anne Gryczka from Rue Nouvelle accompany our Bosl-Matineen to capture the candid experiences of students from the Ballet Academy of the University for Music and Performing Arts and ensemble members of the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich. In this portrait, former BJBM members Lotte James and Severin Brunhuber share their personal experiences of how it feels to perform onstage and the challenges that come with the preparation and lead up to the curtain opening. The Bosl-Matineen exist to provide much needed stage experience for your dancers in their professional development as young artists. Today, Lotte James is a member of the Ballett am Rhein Düsseldorf/Duisburg and Severin Brunhuber dances with the Bavarian State Ballet.
