Ayman Harper

Ayman Harper is a repetiteur, choreographer and educator committed to the performing and visual arts community. A 25-year veteran, he has performed in over 20 countries and taught for companies and universities across five continents. As a former dancer and choreographer for The Forsythe Company, Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT 2), and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago 2, he has collaborated with and performed works by some of his field’s most influential artists. Notably, in 2009, Harper was extended an invitation from Mikhail Baryshnikov to accompany him in a performance for the Baryshnikov Arts Center Gala. He has collaborated with fellow artists Arto Lindsay, electronic musicians Matmos, Alexander Ekman, Tino Sehgal, Ivan Liska, Antony Rizzi, Richard Siegal, Prue Lang and is was a guest professor at P.A.R.T.S under the direction of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and NYU Tisch Dance Summer in Berlin Program. In recent years he has been travelling the world restaging the work of choreographer William Forsythe.
